Capacity building in daily living skills
We focus on helping clients achieve meaningful goals through personalised therapy plans developed in collaboration with both the client and their support networks. We believe in building skills across a variety of areas, empowering individuals to live their best lives. Our interventions are designed to promote independence, enhance well-being, and reduce risks. Areas we focus on include:
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Building essential skills for self-care, meal preparation, household tasks, and maintaining daily routines.
Community Access: Enhancing the ability to navigate public spaces and utilise public transport for greater social participation.
Motor & Upper Limb Rehabilitation: Restoring strength and function to improve mobility and fine motor skills.
Vocational & Cognitive Support: Assisting with employment readiness, mental well-being, and cognitive skills for better work-life balance.
Safety & Prevention: Providing education on manual handling, pressure care, and falls prevention to ensure safety at home and in the community.
Emotional & Social Skills: Supporting emotional regulation, building social skills, and providing sensory processing interventions for holistic well-being.
We support these interventions through funding programs such as NDIS, HCP, NIISQ, and DVA, ensuring our clients have the resources needed to thrive.
